League of Legends: Cloud9 join 2022 Lock In semifinals after 2-1 victory against CLG

Image
CLG held their own until the very end, but C9’s pressure was just too much to handle. Eight teams entered the 2022 LCS Lock In quarterfinals in an attempt to prove themselves before the 2022 Spring Split. Cloud9 took down Counter Logic Gaming 2-1 in the last quarterfinal match today, officially setting the semifinals stage of the  League of Legends   competition. In the first three-game series of the LCS Lock In, C9 bounced back from a small deficit to reaffirm their status as the multi-time LCS champions. CLG found optimal opportunities to tear down C9 through their bot lane in Luger and Poome, though action across the map and varying draft choices made winning through bot only not a useful strategy to win this series. Western Europe 2022 DPC Winter Tour Regional League: Schedule, standings, and results – Dotesport

Even the top teams have some questions that need to be answered. Dota Pro Circuit 2021-2022 Winter Major Update

Image
As the Winter Tour of the   Dota   Pro Circuit 2021-2022 season draws to a close, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the first Major. While hopes were high that we could host an international LAN event, the discovery and spread of new strains of COVID-19 and the resulting increase of travel restrictions has made it unfeasible for all qualified teams to gather for a LAN tournament. As there will be no major, Tour 1 will conclude after all of the regional league tournaments have ended. Players who have participated in Fantasy will receive their rewards before the start of Tour 2. Teams participating in the DPC earn points by playing in their respective Regional Leagues as well as through international competition at the Majors. Since the first Major is no longer happening, we have decided to redistribute its points to the second and third Major. This way, the balance of points between regional and cross-region play remains the same. The points will be distributed as fol...
